I recently got a fireface ucx and I am struggling a lot pluging an hardware compressor on my master output.
Here is my issue : I use Logic pro for music production and I would like to use my compressor on the main output 1-2 and be able to bounce the mix with the compressor processing when I bounce my track in logic.

I plugged my compressor this way : it goes out in 5/6 outputs and comes back in 7/8 inputs.

When I look in Total mix, if I play my song in logic the mix will be displayed in software playback analog 1/2 which make sense. But from there how can I send my mix to the compressor and bounce it back in Logic.. ?

I tried to use the I/O plug in in Logic on my master- so I can send the output to 5/6 and input to 7/8 but it does not work and mute my sound - do you guys have any solutions how I could do that?
