Topic: Click on end of audio files

On a Mac 8-core desktop, HDSPe AIO.

Audio files have this loud "one sample" click at the end of files being played back. Be it unfaded audio recorded in Pro Tools or system sounds or whatever.

Why oh why? And can something be done to fix it?

RME, please? What would cause all audio file ends to result in a "click"? AIO driver, OSX (10.7.4)...?
