Topic: RME hdsp aes32 + Lynx Aurora16 routing failure!

i have a big problem!
for any reason, the routing in my totalmix is linked to something like stereo channels!
channel1 from the lynx is on Input 1+2 in totalmix (signal is only on input1)
channel2 from the lynx is on channel 3+4(signal meters are only on channel3)
channel3 from the lynx is on channel 5+6(signal meters are only on channel5)

and so on!

does anybody know whats wrong here???

its everything connected like always,...i just moved my setup to a new location.
i already checked the D-sub connectors, the settings on the Lynx, the matrix,...
really dont know whats wrong here!

cheers

Unclear description. You either have this:

Keyboard hotkey L. Toggles link mode.

Or this:

SMUX mode (96 kHz) active but not on all devices.

Or this:

Wrong setting for single/double wire mode in the AES Settings dialog.

Single/Double wire mode can be controlled on both your Lynx and the card's Settings dialog. Screenshots of Settings and TM would be helpful to see what is going wrong.

Re: RME hdsp aes32 + Lynx Aurora16 routing failure!

you should get a message from the support hotline, spoke to them a few minutes ago but no success.

Re: RME hdsp aes32 + Lynx Aurora16 routing failure!

that really sucks big time!
i should record since yesterday but now everything stands still.

i tried to reboot with 96khz just to see what happens.
the only thing that happend was that i can see the input signal now on both channels.
1+2, 3+4, 5+6 as a stereo pair.

To check what is going on: can you connect the AES input with the AES output, set the Clock Mode to Master, then play a signal from some software? It should register in TM exactly as intended. If so the settings in the Lynx must be wrong. I am not familiar with that unit, but shouldn't the Sync Source be set to 'Internal' instead of LSlot? That sounds like slave mode to me.
