Topic: what other Firewire devices can I daisy chain into a Fireface

And does it give me (in the case of the new Presonus Studio/Live e.g.) 16 extra channels just like using the ADAt slots?

On OS X you can aggregate several devices (but should still sync them via ADAT or Wordclock). On Windows it's not officially possible via ASIO, albeit some software solution exists. If your Firewire port and computer setup can handle two different Firewire interfaces at low latency is a different question.
