Topic: flashing midi led

I have two synths connected to the midi ports of my UC via in/out 1 and 2.  In 1 the led is flashing yellow constantly.  But 1 doesnt.  WHat is the flashing for?

My guess is that one of your synths is sending midi "running status" which is a constant stream of midi messages. Some devices use it some don't.
I haven't had my coffee yet so I may have the name of the message type wrong but some synths sent a constant stream of midi.

Ok, one cup of coffee down, now I remember "active sensing".
