Hi,

Ive installed OSX Lion on my brand new MacBook Pro 13" and all latest MacBook and OSX updates from the update menu and made my HD icon visible using the finder preferences:

The first thing I installed was the latest RME BabyFace driver version 1.76. The installer needed a reboot after installing so I did reboot my MacBook.
suddenly the HD icon disappeared from the desktop...
I have checked the finder > preferences > general tab > click Show these items on desktop: Hard disks settings. HD is selected but still I can not see it on my desktop?!
All other selections in Finder / Preferences DO display on your desktop (external disks, network disk etc).

How can I fix this?
Please help..
