Topic: HDSPe AES to Apogee DA16x Anyone??? Need Help!

I just purchased a HDSPe AES ... I see it has two DSUB connectors and RME(=TASCAM pinout) and Apogee DA16x  is 1 Yamaha DSUB
,, So I got a cable with ALVA that does the TASCAM to YAMAHA thing.
Anyway, I realized that I think I might need something else in terms of cabling .... because this isn't working.
I'm getting some audio to come out of the Apogee ... but non of the physical outputs in TotalMix seem to be
mapping correctly to the Apogee's outputs. I also realized that how am I going to get channels 9-16 across .. Ughh

Please check the pinout with Apogee (or in the manual). If I remember correctly, they had some pinout with all 16 channels on one such connector, while those on the RME are 8 in and out, respectively. It may be easiest to get breakout cables with XLR for each device and connect individually.
