Topic: About UCX input levels

I'm considering a UCX.

Curious about the three input level settings on the unit, -10 dBv +4 dBU and Lo Gain.

The +4 dBU setting only has 9 dB headroom (+13 dBU)...just wondering if there's a reason to use this setting over the Lo gain setting with "+4 dBU" equipment? There's about 20-30 dB's of headroom on everything I've got laying around.

Just wondering why it's called Lo Gain, and the reason for the +4dBU/Lo Gain choice.
