Topic: UFX supporting ASIO 2.0 direct monitoring control on OSX?

Hi Guys

Wondering if the UFX will be supporting the "direct monitoring" functions of ASIO 2.0 in the future, under Mac OSX?

I don't believe this is currently supported but would love to know if this is on the roadmap?

There is no ASIO in OSX, and therefore no ASIO Direct Monitoring, either...

Hi Daniel

Thanks for the quick reply.

I understood that while some DAWs don't use ASIO on OSX (such as Logic, which uses core audio) others like Cubase do use ASIO on both Mac and Windows?

No ASIO is not available in OSX. Not at all.

What Jean-Michel said. No ASIO in OSX. Some references to ASIO may remain from the days of OS 9, but they mean nothing...
