Topic: Fireface UCX and iPad retina

Hey guys,

I'm looking to do some mobile recording with my UCX and I'm considering the new iPad in stead of a notebook. Have you tested the iPad retina yet? Now that the 30 pin connection is out the window will the new lightning to USB camera connection cable work?

Will the iPad also be charged through the UCX's USB port?

It works with my i pad mini...same connector.

Charging doesn´t work zat way.

Thanks MH 3. Too bad the iPad can't be charged during a recording session. I can imagine the battery going dead after a 3 hour session, especially when the device is reaching 3 or 4 years.
