Topic: Babyface start up issues since Class Compliant update

Hi,

Since the update (re-installed drivers and bios/rom), I’ve experience this same problem three times in a row on startup.

1)    Turn on computer from either hibernate or full shut down
2)    Babyface does not power up automatically
3)    Unplug USB, then plug back in the BF
4)    Only get right channel (this happened all three times!)
5)    Unplug USB, then plug back in the BF
6)    Normal operation

Win 7 Pro (64bit), Dell XPS 8300, i7 2600k, 16GB Ram, BF out to powered monitors via XLR outs. Problem occurs with Winamp/Media Player and within Cubase 6.5.4. Babyface plugged into either USB 2.0 or USB 3.0 port (tried both), no power supply. Was working ‘fine’ before the update.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Use the BF either with the double power cable (means two ports) or with an external power supply.
