Topic: FF800 Hardware failure - no host

Hi,
I have FF800 for more than 5 years, running on many different PC during years without any issue (very great card).
Suddenly, several weeks ago, no more host (red light on FF800). I ve tried all updates, different firewire cables and PC (on which it has always been working fine). Nothing... After having got time to review all forum topics seems to be related to same issue (no host-connection between FF800 and PC), no solution seen... There has been no

The solution was in the threads that you read - unit defective, send it in for check/repair.
