Topic: Fireface UC firmware bug

Hello! I've noticed some bug on the latest(117 for UC) firmware- while working in DAW (Logic, Ableton Live) I hear crackling in the right output, after the sound comes in from any external hardware. While in 176kHz and 192kHz there is no such problem, all the lower sample rates have this bug. There is no such thing when DAW is not loaded and the incoming sound is going straight through the totalmix. I have rolled back to the 111 version of firmware, and everything works fine. And by the way another question is there any driver archive for USB? the 111 version is the only one i have found on the internet.

I can not reproduce, which might be caused by the incomplete description (external hardware connected to analog, SPDIF or ADAT? Right output refers to which output? Checked the clock settings in the Settings dialog, and they are set to?). To downgrade to v115:

External hardware is connected to analog, clock settings- internal. Right output refers to right channel of any analog output of the soundcard. So I hear clicks in my headphones and through the monitors. And I can see that click in totalmix.

Thank you, 115 is ok. Checked 117 again, still the same bug.

We did more tests and still can not repoduce this effect.

i just upgraded the firmware to 1.17 on my UC today and got exactly the same problem. small clicks in the right speaker. it sounds like some sync problem somehow, and it is only there when i have my Crane Song HEDD connected. i have used the UC and HEDD for the last 4 days with no problem whatsoever. PLEASE can you give me a link with the 1.15 firmware. im in the middle of a mastering project and this isnt useable.....

great thanks though it worked fine with the 1.11... i would erase that 1.17 and quickly make a 1.18 big_smile:D

Ahh yea thats in next week. Thanks i will try it, when i have the 1.15 also. Looing forward to see news from Clavia... big_smile
