Hello there RME team and fans and Happy new year

After numerous years of using my RME sound card , for the first time have a persistent  issue

first off I have read the FAQ forums ect....

Did the basics trouble shooting ,

installing latest drivers
Used different FirewireWire cables
Tried on another MAC
Repaired Disk Permissions

The problem still is still here  , My FF 800 is no longer recognized  , The "Host" red light is permanently  lit on the unit

Any ideas of what I am missing  do I need to get it serviced ?
