Topic: Adding more I/O to UFX - ADI-8?

Hi There.

I'm thinking I need more I/O for in my setup. Currently running a UFX.

Would a ADI-8 be the correct choice?
Could I control it via TotalMix?

What are the significant differences between the ADI-8 DS and QS

Sure.

No, you can not control it from TM (and usually that is not necessary).

Please refer to the website pages. The QS is more advanced and has more options, like MADI.

OK, I bit the bullet and ordered an ADi-8 mmiii. Should get here next week.

When it arrives what is the best way to hook them up?

Set the UFX to master and the ADI-8 to slave to the ADAT inputs.

cheers MC, how do you set one to slave and one to master
