Topic: digicheck global record app or durec for android planned?

Hi, for a few days I have been running this from both my nexus 7 & Motorola xoom (android jellybean)

It supports many USB class compliant interfaces and USB mics.


This is working well for basic stereo recording using the Babyface in class compliant mode, and the author is working on adding multichannel support.

I would love to see an official RME digicheck app or durec for android (only need global record) with its multichannel wav recording and metering.
Is this in the pipeline?

It is not and will not be. Android will need many years to catch up to what is already available on iOS - apps, functionality, interfaces. So don't count on us or other serious audio manufacturers to invest time in this platform in the forseeable future.
