Topic: Clicks/Distrtions with Fireface UC and iMac

Hey,

I recently got the rme fireface uc. i work with a new imac 3.1GHz quad core i7/16GB ram. osx 10.8.2. it dosent matter if i play music on itunes in the internet or if i produce with ableton. i got some weird clicks/distortion every few minutes. first i thought it has something to do with the clock scource, but i got it on eternal and i have only one fireface/sound card. i got the newest software from the rme dowloads section, but it dosent help. does anybody know what the problem could be?

Which firmware version is installed on the unit?

anyone? i checked, the distortions/clicks are on the headphones too, when i plug them in into the rme fireface uc. so it has to be something with the fireface....
