Topic: surface noice from my babyface when turning off/on lamp and

Attaching/removing usb-cables or usb-drives etc when i have my headphones attached to the headphone jack.

This can't be normal? Especially the turning on/off my desk lamp. When i do that I get this loud pop. My electrical outlet is earthed and my apartment is relatively new and it doesn't matter where in my apartment i turn the lamp on, the pop is there no matter what when turning on/off the lamp. Looking at the totalmix meters and the meter on the card they don't recognize it neither do they move. It doesn't matter if it's the Sennheiser or the Sony's headphones i'm wearing. I thought i was leading current but it is not trust me.

Attaching usb-cables does make a sparking sound too but not as apparent.

This is the kind of desklamp i am refering too. A halogen desklamp
