Topic: Rme Fireface Uc

Hi I have just had a PC built and delivered. The company told me that they had tested the UC with my system and that everything was fine but that I should keep to 128 samples for stability.

My problem is that each time I plug the power supply into the back of the UC .. the little LED on the wire begins to flash and the system will not power on.

Can anybody please advise what may be happening.

The UC is currently plugged into a 6 way adapter with speakers and PC  ... could this be a voltage problem ?

Thanks

Please try a different power supply.

Re: Rme Fireface Uc

Are you using the power source that came with the unit?
I had PSU from K-Tec, which came with the unit, and that one had poor quality of cord and copper was exposed after relatively short period of time.
It got replaced by importer.
While waiting the replacement I tried PSU that matched the voltage range marked on the back of the UC.
With some PSUs I noticed that UC wouldn't run properly and I think the reason was the lack of current.
The original K-Tec outputted 2A.

The PSUs that had matching voltage range came with devices like external hard drive cases.
