Topic: Question for Matthias about Dalet

We are trying to install Digiface with Dalet 5 on Windows 7.
It is well known that Dalet radio automation system prefers Digigram audio cards. We are rebuilding an old radio automation server with several ISA Digigram cards and older Dalet 5 software.

Dalet 5 does not see the RME driver.
We installed Digigram card, which uses a special np "virtual" driver, which only works with Digigram and Soundblaster cards.
We then inserted the RME driver in place of Digigram driver into ini file, where Dalet looks for drivers on startup,  but no luck so far.

Do you know if anybody ever succesfully installed RME with Dalet? Perhaps with an older driver?

Dalet users would be happy to use RME audio cards instead of overpriced Digigram.

RME cards will support ASIO and WDM - if the Dalet software does not see these, this will not likely work. Have you contacted the software manufacturer also?

Thanks for fast reply.

No, they don't support WDM or Asio. But we thought if Soundblaster works with Dalet, there should be a way to make it work with RME too. Obviously there isn't.
