Topic: Need support please......Win 7 - 64bit - Fireface 800 BSOD

Hi, so I've been experiencing random blue screens for a while now and it seems
related to the Fireface/firewire.

Where is the supported/not-supported firewire chipset list??

This is my motherboard - http://www.gigabyte.com/products/produc … id=3973#sp --

using...

IEEE 1394

VIA VT6308 chip: 0.Up to 2 IEEE 1394a ports (1 on the back panel, 1 via the IEEE 1394a bracket connected to the internal IEEE 1394a header)

I recently switched the the "legacy" driver as recommended and I'm using the latest FF driver and firmware.
When I made the switch to "legacy" yesterday, it seems I'm having audio quality issues now and I wasn't before -
don't know yet if the BSOD issues is resolved.

I would appreciate some help please.

I'm still waiting for that question to be answered myself.

I would like to know if it works with this too VIA VT6308 chipset.
I'm upgrading my computer but my old fireface 400 still rocks!
