Topic: FF400 input jack dead.. help please :)

I bought a FF400 for my studio a little while ago which has been installed in a rack and permanently plugged together and working fine. Just recently, I came to use one of the rear inputs for recording (have been using the front ins for nearly all recording), only to find that it's dead. The input ports have never been used. Needless to say I'm a bit disappointed.

I'm concerned that I may be experiencing gradual death of ports relating to corrosion problems I read about elsewhere.

Do I need to get a new jack and have a local engineer repair it? Do I need to send the unit in?

Advice/help please.. Many thanks,

S

Is there any visible corrosion?

Please contact the local distributor for service and repair matters.
