Topic: Babyface: Can you transform the inputs into outputs?

I am using the babyface for my live sets in ableton 8.1. I need 2 outputs as i use 2 channels on a DJ mixer when i play, both play tracks at the same time at points.

In ableton i have channel 1 as ext out 1/2 and channel 2 as ext out 3/4. In the total mix AN 1/2 hardware output is set to mono. So then AN 1 is channel 1 in ableton and AN 2 is channel 2.

The problem i have is when channel 1 is playing through the DJ mixer it comes through ok but if i bring up channel 2 on the DJ mixer i can hear the channel 1 audio very faintly. Same works the other way around with channel 2.

If i can transform the input into an output that would solve the issue, if it can be done. I have called the support line and total mix is set up fine.

Has anyone had this issue? Any help would be great thanks. Its more or less like a DJ set up so if anyone uses it like that then i would like to know how.

PS: I am using 2 mono XLR to stereo RCA cables to connect to the DJ mixer.

Thanks
