Hi folks,

I've had a Babyface for a while and constant volume adjustment has left a layer of grime around the knob. Is there anything special I should use to clean it? Obviously I don't want liquids dripping down into the unit around the knob. I had a quick look through the manual and didn't see anything in there about gunk-removal.

Also, can I recommend for future units to use another type of finish, or perhaps a Macbook Pro-style aluminum? Mine immediately started wearing down around the knob and to the right and left, where I rest my hand. At this point it looks a little... ghetto, for lack of a better term. It's made me extra-cautious about cleaning it since the blue paint has even started to flake off in one spot.
