In fact, when i listen to a music on windows media player, then i open the fireface mixer at the same time, the fireface mixer is not working well!
It bugs(it is defaulting a lot) a lot and doesn't answer anymore!
So I'm obliged to start again my computer.
Could you please give me a solution for this....?
Configuration:
Windows 7 64 bits
RME Fireface 400
I have already downloaded the driver "3.071" and "firmware revision 1.71."

Sorry, please be more specific about the problem. "The fireface mixer is not working well" is very vague.

when I put music on my computer everything is fine, but when I open "fireface mixer" it lag (bug). then I must close the program with the task manager.

Please provide more information about the hardware setup (Firewire connection).

the firewire card is a VIA VT6306 (IEEE 1394 PCI + port (VIA)). Driver is OHCI-compliant 1394 Host controller (legacy)
Please do test another card, preferrably with a TI chipset, e.g. Dawicontrol, SIIG, or others.
