Hi,

I have a mac mini dual 2,4 ghz, with 4 gig ram, osx 10.6.8, Logic 9.1.7 at 128 samples and the latest RME Drivers / Firmware for the UFX that is connected via USB. I have problems with this setup that appear from time to time and I can't figure out why and it makes my setup very unreliable:

Yesterday I recorded a piano - two tracks - and when I listened to it afterwards I noticed that there is a click / plop sound in my recording. It happened already about 10 times in the last half a year that I record a track and I find out later that it actually recorded clicks or plop noises on it. No plugins in the DAW.

Today I recorded a bass track. The two piano tracks were playing while I recorded bass onto a new track.
I had midi cables in the back of the ufx but didn't use it and haven't started my midi device (Nord Keyboard). One Plug in in the Master Chain (Waves SSL Compressor).
Suddenly I had the "Error while trying to synchronize audio and MIDI" Message and the recorded sounded like this:

Both things happen from time to time, and I can't really figure out why and it's very disturbing.
I'm very happy with my UFX, but I never had this problems with my motu traveler before.
