Topic: More I/O for my Firefice UC

Hi There,

i want to add 8 more 96khz In/outs to my Fireface UC. Can i use every ADI8? and what Cable do i need?

Can any one clear this up for my please:)

You can't. The one ADAT I/O gives only 4 more channels at 96 kHz. Only solution is a different or another (second) interface.

Aha, okay

and with 44.1khz i can use all 8 channels from the ADI8?

how do connect a second interface, let´s say e second UC.. via USB?
Can i then use 2 Totalmixes? or how is this done that way?

i saw a video, how to set up 2 fireface uc.. is this only for mac or can i do it on pc too?

PC too. But I would recommend to sell the UC and better get a UFX then.

and when i use the ADI 8 with just 44.1khz i can use the full 8 channels?... by the way i just need the outs for summing. don´t want to record a band or something. the Ins are negligible.
i would gladly by a UFX but i need an cheap way to get 8 more channels... basically just need 44.1khz..then the ADI 8´s are in the running again?
