Topic: UFX & Studio One

Hey,
I am currently using Studio One and I am thinking about purchasing a UFX to interface with it.  My question is if the total mix will take care of low latency monitoring since Studio One does not have a Direct Monitoring option?

Yes you can, take care of low latency monitoring with totalmix. It will not do it for you rotfl though.

So it automatically switches back to input playback when studio one goes into record? and back to DAW playback when taken out of record?

No, how should it know in what state Studio One is? You can manually mute the Channels coming from the DAW and only listen to the Mic/Line-Ins directly in in TM.

Another easy way to use Studio One with the UFX is to turn off Input Monitoring in Studio One and only monitor inputs through TotalMixFX.

Studio: RME UFX PT11, Studio One 2.5, Waves, UAD..
Live: RME UFX, Octopre, Rodes, Shure
