Topic: DIGICHECK 'device error' on OS startup
hello,
when including RME's DIGICHECK in the list of programs to load on startup (i am using a win 7 x64 system), the software produces an error dialog, and displays no activity when audio stream is fed through the channels it is set to monitor. upon closing and reopening DIGICHECK manually, everything works fine. i am using v 5.51 of the software and what i believe is the latest driver for my HDSP interface (v 3.32).
any help or suggestions to make DIGICHECK load up without this hitch on startup would be greatly appreciated!
(BTW i am unsure whether the order in which the programs are executed in the startup directory matters -- or how this can be re-shuffled for that matter. i tried renaming the .lnk file that points to DIGICHECK so that it starts with a character which appears later in the character set than RME driver's front end utility ['hdsp.exe']... -- which does not seem to have helped.)
thank you!
