Apologies if this has been asked before, I couldn't find anything for this specific question.

I just got a new UCX and was wondering if it can work with both my Macbook Pro and my studio PC at the same time.

I don't need the two computers to interact or get synced or anything, I just would like to be able to switch between them for different tasks without having to unplug / plug in every time.

Could I achieve this by simply using the UCX's Firewire connection for the one and the USB connection for the other, or would there be a risk of damaging anything?
