Topic: Calibrating monitors and correct fader level for Totalmix output

When I calibrate my monitors to say K-20 or K-14, what's the default output level to set for the totalmix output faders before I set the monitor gain and test the SPL? 

What is the default output fader position in totalmix, to be set, when calibrating the system?

I use the digicheck too, set to whichever K setting I want to use, and I'd love to have some advice on getting this whole process right in terms of setting the right chain.
