Topic: Spdif,Adat conection with Fireface Uc

Hi,

I have question,

I need connect 2 hardware synths.Each synth has SPdif out (adat),but fireface uc has only one spdif in(adat).
Can I connect to any rme converter or spdif,adat hardware interface (and which is the model?) 2 synth  an then,connect to rme uc?

If I understand you correctly, No, that is pretty complicated (although it sounds simple). On top of that the synths would need a word clock input to make sure the digital streams are in sync. But really there is no gain in using the digital outs of your synths, just use the analogue outs of one. The most expensive one or the newest one probably has the best analogue outs.

In SOS magazine they said, "See the analogue outs and ins as a universal digital connection".
