Topic: Sample Rate Blinking in the Control Panel

Hi,

I don't know whether I should worry or not but here are the symptoms on my HDSP AES32 (PCI version not the PCIe one).

My card is synchronized to an external Wordclock and receives AES feeds from my ADs synced with the same WC source. On the control panel, all inputs and worclock are tagged as 'Sync'. So far so good.

However, I realized recently that the sample rate display associated to the FIRST AES channel (and only this one) is sort of blinking when no playback or recording occur. Symptoms disappear immediately when in playback or recording mode. Of course I tried the obvious (checked WC impedance termination, swapped AES channels, swapped Sub-D25 cables, swapped ADs) without success.

Is this normal, and if not, how shall I troubleshoot the problem?

Thanks for your help!

Best,
Thomas
