Topic: HDSP 9652 with Protools 10?

Hi,

I am a happy user of my HDSP 9652 inside a win7-PC under Nuendo for years now. Unfortunalty one upcoming project requires me to use Protools 10 which I bought via license transfer. But I can't seem to get it working. It crashes during the startup process while doing something DAE related. I can't find anything on the AVID website, that says, it is not possible to run Protools 10 with an RME HDSP 9652, but do you have any recomendations?

This should work... WHich driver have you got installed?

No known issue. Is this the only RME HDSP card in the system? Is PT up to date?

Hi again,

Protools is version 10.3.6 and I have only one HDSP 9652 in the system. I just got rid of the Powercore PCI mkII just to minimize possible other sources of the problem...

...also just to be sure, I replaced the HDSP 9652 with my HDSP 9632, but so far nothing different: Crash during prgramm start while showing "DAE-Objects being created"

Running 10 and 11 on the same Win7 PC with HDSP9624.
Solid as a rock.
Might want to check compatibility of your PC Mobo/Processor with the Digi forum.
PT is more finicky re PC hardware than any other app.

I had that problem, then loaded latest flash driver fut win dsp zip at the rme download page and it stopped. I just can't
seem to get pro tools 10 to recognize my Rme 9652 inputs. Anybody have a cure?




win 7 ultimate ,pro tools 10.3.9
