Topic: Multiface II and Raydat together?

Hi.

I am wondering if these 2 cards would play well together in one system...  Actually I would prefer to just use the Multiface II as the converter and use the Raydat as the main interface.

Is this possible, I could use the PCIe card as well, or perhaps just use the Multiface II PCIe and ditch the raydat, however the raydat would be cool to keep around for the extra i/o.

-thx

(ps, to bad what a shame the Multiface II cannot be true stand alone, it would be a great value...)

Re: Multiface II and Raydat together?

All HDSP cards share the same ASIO driver (except HDSPe MADI FX). Indeed the MF does not support full standalone operation, sorry.

Re: Multiface II and Raydat together?

Hi Daniel,

Just saw your post as I'm looking at getting my new HDSPe MADI FX card to show alongside the older HDSP AES-32 card.
But it looks like I can only select one OR the other.

Are you saying that with the new card I just can't use the AES card within the DAW?

Not great is it?

Re: Multiface II and Raydat together?

… If I may add, while I'm there,

With Pyramix, the signal routed to AES or Phones doesn't show up at all in the Software Playback of TotalMix. It does for all the MADI though. Did I miss anything?

Thanks
Raphael
