Hello,

since a few weeks I have problems with my MF I, after using it almost 10 years without any trouble. When recording or listening to a track, there are a lot of random clicks with different intensity. The more tracks or the louder the signal, the more clicks you can hear. In Digicheck (function bitstatistic & noise) you can see a permanently red Validity Bit.
I tried to disable every possible source of interference in Windows (Network, USB mouse, etc.). Every cable has been replaced, also the power supply of the MF when using it with the laptop.

Here are my setups:

PC: Fujitsu Siemens P4, 2,8 GHZ, 2 GB RAM
Win XP, Reaper, Samplitude 11
Laptop: Dell Latitude E 6400, 4 GB RAM
Win 7, 64 Bit, Reaper

I'm afraid the MF needs to be repaired and I'm wondering, if it is still worth to be repaired or if I should change to a Fireface UC or UCX.
