Topic: Madiface usb and Danngerous dbox

Longshot...
regarding the madiface USB:   it is possible to connect one of the madi outs to the digital (xlr) in on the d-box? (the optical madi out will be going to converters)  I use the dangerous dbox as monitoring/summing box and need to monitor a pair of channels for playback.  Ive seen bnc - xlr cables but something tells me this probably wont work.

Maybe the budget still allows purchasing a book on the very basics of digital audio... (sorry, couldn't resist...) MADI and AES/EBU are different formats, so you need an additional device for format conversion.
