Topic: Madiface XT with Midas Pro2

hi there
I have a madiface XT, Klark Teknik DN9650 and a Midas Pro2 and i'm having some issues.  I've got AES sync between the pro2 and the DN9650, and seem to have MADI comms between the DN9650 and the madiface XT but I can't get any inputs to show up from the console on my mac.  Have patched direct outs from all channels on the console to the AES50 cards.  Can get audio input from the mic pre on the madiface XT to show up on my mac.

is there something i'm missing here?  bit of urgency on this one as I have to do a record with this in about 14 hours

How do you connect to the Mac (USB2 or USB3 or ePCIe)? Which MADI I/Os are in use? What is the sync status for MADI in the HDSPe Settings app?

Do you have both madi in and out conected to the dn9650? I seem to remember having problems getting outputon the mad out, when the madi in on the pro9650 was not connected

Hey there,

Have you set up the 9650 via the web interface?

Also what clock settings/sample rates are you using?

The 9650 will do sample rate conversion but it needs to be set up.

I would suggest making the pro 2 the master, syncing the 9650 to AES 1, and then syncing the madiface to the 9650 via madi.

We are using a very similar setup (non RME madi card) and it took a bit of tinkering to make it solid.

Once done though it has worked great.
