Topic: MADIFace XT and Neumann DMI-2

Hi,

I'm thinking of getting this setup (for an all digital experience) although I'm not at all sure that the Neumann Interface and the XT are compatible. If someone can shed some light or has tried this thru the AES breakout inputs, please chime in.

Truly appreciate it, as this seems the best setup I can get atm.

Well, they are compatible DMI-2 AES/EBU out to XT AES/EBU in... but what are you going to do with the bazillion MADI channels on the XT ?  hmm

If there is another interface more suitable for an AxeFx II XL, some midi keys, a digital drum AND the Neumann digital mic, I'd be glad to save some bucks.

It's just the usb+pcie options on the madiface xt seem to offer the less latency available, and that was what i was aiming for.
