Topic: Outputs of my Octamic 2 plays signal of the inputs even when attached

Is it normal that my octamic sends the signal of its inputs straight to the output? (input 1 to output 1, input 2 to output 2 .....) Even when I hook my Octamic to my presonus firestudio 2626 through ADAT, the octamic does that. I can't use the outputs of the octamic for monitoring this way... Is there any way to prevent this?

This is perfectly normal. These are just analog line outputs fed by the mic inputs. You can not use these outputs for monitoring from the computer anyhow, since the Octamic neither has got any digital audio inputs nor DA converters.
