Topic: HDSP 9632 + PCI-to-PCIe Bridge Expansion + Modern Mac Pro

Hi,

I am finally making the move from PC to Mac for DAW and I was wondering if anyone has successfully used a HDSP 9632 in a Mac Pro using a Magma or Startech PCI expansion unit?

I noted some posts on here said there is no driver for Lion (or anything more recent) for the HDSP 9632 and therefore this set-up won't actually work even though the hardware will?

Unfortunately, this won't work for lack of driver support for the PCI cards on Intel Mac systems...
The HDSPe AIO will replace the 9632 here, which can remain in the PC as a secondary/backup system...
