I'm having 2 ADI 8 DS MK3 questions
I've got the unit connected via ADAT to a SSL Alphalink AX Madi (connected to HDSPe MADI)
On the HDSPe the ADI channels are 25-32
I need the unit to convert ADAT to AES (1,2,3,4 via db25 breakout)
And also the other way around from AES to ADAT
I find the 8 settings in the manual confusing
In which position should the switch on the left of the unit sit?
In some positions i get signal, but also feedback loops
I've got a tascam DA3000 DSD RECORDER conected to aes pair 1 (in and out)
Both the tascam, HDSPe, ADI 8 are synced via wordclock to the Alphalink

2nd question
Is there are way to pass the trs analogue inputs on to the db25 analogue output, without conversion, for monitoring purpises?
