Topic: TotalMix won't open at all.

Hi,

I have really frustrating problem with my system. I have RME Babyface + MacBook Pro and I have following problem; every time I connect my Babyface to Mac's usb-slot Fireface Usb Settings starts normally but TotalMix dosen't. It crashes all the time (not responding) and I have to force quit it. I have deleted drivers and reinstalled them twice and the problem is still on. TotalMix has started only once now and that was after several minutes waiting.

My system:
RME Babyface
MacBook Pro
OS X 10.9.3
Firmware: v220
Driver: v1.95

You could try the version 1.99 driver available here in the USB and FireWire Series forum.

I installed 1.99 drivers and the problem is still on. I also drove through disk utlity and installed latest dirver again.

TotalMix icon just jumping few minutes on the dock and then it's not responding.

Please make sure the BF is not switched to CC mode...

Yeah found how to check it. It is now in normal mode but the problem is still on.

I just installed latest drivers and problem is still on. I don't have any ideas left for this. Should I re-install OS X?

Can you test the BF with another cable, computer, or USB connection?

Yes I have tested it with another cable and with three different systems. In other systems everything is working normally.

The problem is still on. Is the OS X re-installation only solution at this point???

Hi. Did you find a solution for this?
I'm having a similar problem on FF800. Drivers won't load after I tried to connect two FF800 together.....
I'm stuck.
