Topic: Control/sync TotalMix FX Echo time with Midi or ARC

Hi there,

When using TotalMix and RME live, it will be nice to control/sync your Echo time with your songs tempo (not only knob mute FX with your ARC controller). Does anyone have any idea if it can be done and how?!

either you know or you've checked before which tempo on what song, or in r.t. you get some tempo guessing app (on smartphone or regular computer), and then  :

you may store the tap value in snapshot in the gig's always the same

Calculating delay ms to bpm is not a problem.
I was wondering if anyone knows a way to sync this parameter in 1/4s or 1/8s to a external midi host (f.e. drum machine). Then everything is going to be in ready in time when I only unmute the Echo with the ARC (like on Yamaha 01v96 mixers), or ...

How to MIDI map the "Delay Time" to a knob/fader on a controller/keyboard or TouchOSC.
