Topic: Problem: ADI 96 pro to Digidesign ADAT bridge

Hi

Just bought a used ADI 96 pro, and tried to run it with my Digidesign 24 bit. ADAT bridge. I don't seem to be able to get it running at fx. an ADI 8 pro, by just connecting the SPDIF to ADAT optical IN. Do i need something else for it to run or am i missing something?

I have no problems getting In/Out meters moving from my console, but cannot get e signal out.

Where does it say that the ADI-96 supports ADAT? Nowhere, so...

Quick question.

Would it permantly damage the d-sub port on the adi-96 pro if connected like that?
Or is there some chance i just have a broken cabel.
Asking cause i bought (before i saw this) the exact same box from above and having trouble remoting it.
