Topic: Which PCIe interface should I take?

Hi folks

I'm planning to set up 2 PCs via Lan for all my orchestral stuff i do. Mostly i compose music for film and media.

So far as I know, PCIe is the fastest standard for audiointerfaces what made my decision easier BUT:

Which interface should I take? 1st priority is that it can handle my big templates and my Master-Midikeyboard.
2nd priority is that I'm able to record vocals. What do I need more or additional to the PCIe interface?

Thanks for your tips and answers!

Andy

Re: Which PCIe interface should I take?

Hello Andy! I use a HDSPe AIO on my Mac Pro, so it's solid and works perfect. With PCIe-interface you will forget about any problems, but AIO doesn't have a preamps, so you need a separate device (like a QuadMic II) connecting via balanced cables. Check manuals for this products and get what you need.
