Need a decent sound card for a new built: i7, 4gig processing, 32 gig ram windows 8.1. Budget is around $1000.

Hello! There is a two ways for start with your budget: HDSPe AIO (if your desktop have a PCIe slot) and Babyface. For AIO's better sounding I recommend an additional balanced breakout cable.
