This may seem an odd question.

I've been happily using a 9652 for many years. I haven't updated the drivers in so long I can't remember.

Currently using Win 7/64, Cubase 64, Wavelab 7, VSL, etc. I have 2 Lucid 88 AD/DAs which handle all my I/O needs and I doubt I'll ever need any more than that.

I noticed there was an update to drivers and Firmware in July.

Question: Is there any point in updating for me? I mean... if I'm not experiencing any issues, should I bother? Or are there any performance benefits?

I rarely (if ever) use TotalMix.

So my main interest would be if the new drivers were more -efficient- in some way. (Lower latencies, etc.)
