Topic: wrong sample rate spdif ok?

Hi, I was just wondering that if I am doing any thing potentially wrong with my card by running at different sample rates?

my situation = main sync is internal 48khz and my spdif (optical) input is 44khz.  It seems the audio is slowed down by doing this process?

Is it harmful to do this?

thx

edit : sorry I'm running a Raydat and Win 8.1.

Re: wrong sample rate spdif ok?

It's not harmful to the hardware, but the Raydat will not convert incoming audio to the desired sample rate. You can switch the clock sync source for the card to SPDIF In when you need to use this input.
