Topic: Can't rename channels (RESOLVED)

Just looking at TM FX for my FF800 in OSX 10.9.4 for the first time, generally very impressed...

I can't seem to rename channels? In the old TM on OSX I think it was Alt-click on the channel name - TM FX User manual says double click on the name, but that does nothing for me, either in the mixer itself or in the Channel Layout box.

EDIT to say: The NAMES in the blue box on the right must be de-selected in order to set the names.  Not entirely obvious from the User manual... in OSX there is no View Option...

2nd edit...  User manual says...

The name field is the preferred place to select a channel by a mouse click

...but apparently it's only possible to use the default names for this, not the user names? The user names are simply labels for the channels?
